Israeli massacre in Al-Zawaida area in Gaza claims the lives of 15 Palestinians

An Israeli airstrike on Saturday against Al-Zawaida area in central Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of 15 Palestinians.

WAFA News Agency reported that the occupation’s warplanes targeted this dawn tents housing displaced persons near the entrance to Al-Zawaida on Salah Al-Din Street in central Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 15 citizens and the injury of dozens others.

The agency added that paramedics recovered the bodies of two people and a number of wounded after the occupation warplanes bombed a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 40,005 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 92,401 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Commenting on the massacre, the Palestinian Movement “Hamas” affirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to commit crimes and massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip amidst the world silence and with the full support from of the US administration and its Western allies.

The movement said in a statement “these crimes against Palestinians, including children, women and the elderly, continue in front of the world, with full support of the US administration and Western countries, which continue to provide the cover and time necessary for the government of Zionist extremist entity to continue the war of extermination in Gaza Strip with the aim of subjugating the Palestinian people and their resistance.”

The movement called on the international community, the United Nations and its institutions to break the silence and assume their responsibilities to protect the Palestinians, work to stop these brutal crimes against the Palestinian people, and hold the Zionist war criminals accountable for their brutal crimes.
