Israeli enemy escalates attacks on villages and towns in south Lebanon

Beirut, (ST) – Last night and this morning, the Israeli occupation forces escalated their attacks on villages and towns in south Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that enemy artillery targeted the outskirts of the town of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district with more than 20 155 mm shells.

The enemy reconnaissance aircrafts continued until this morning to fly over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre, in conjunction with the launching of flare bombs throughout the night over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line.

At night, the Israeli enemy intensified its attacks on villages and residential neighborhoods in the south, as it raided the town of Kafra, which led to a number of injuries and severe damage to property and infrastructure, especially the electricity and water networks.

The enemy warplanes raided a house in the town of Al-Dhahira and on the outskirts of Aita Al-Shaab, causing material damage to property and crops, while other enemy warplanes carried out a series of mock raids over tge southern villages, breaking the sound barrier and launching thermal balloons.
