“Israel” and its allies in the West are responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, says Drulak

Prague, (ST) –  Former Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Professor Petr Drulak criticized the silence of Western officials regarding Israel’s violation of the international law and international humanitarian law. He stressed that Israel is not only violating these laws now, rather it has been violating them for a long time, through its illegal occupation of Palestinian territories and the siege it imposes on Gaza and the West Bank.

Drulak said in an interview with Nashe Pravda newspaper: Despite this violation, the West does not address it and the matter is ignored, while its cries grow louder about the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, even though the number of deaths in the Ukrainian conflict is less than the number of victims of Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza.

Drulak stressed that “Israel” and its allies, the United States and the West, bear full responsibility for the humanitarian catastrophe taking place in Gaza and for the war crimes committed against civilians, including children and women, and the suspicious international silence regarding that.
