Irreparable Damage to US Credibility

The US Secretary of State, John Kerry, seems to be at times the mouthpiece of the Saudi Monarchy. Kerry’s fluctuating and contradictory statements have nothing to do with finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria; rather the statements are in line with the foolish Saudi stances and hatred.

In the morning, Kerry underscores the importance of Geneva2, praises the Syrian Leadership constructive role; in the evening, Kerry, however, becomes another man issuing reckless statements, and even, loses his US ID to become   Syrian- I apologize from my Syrian brothers and sisters-. Kerry shamelessly allows himself to speak and even decide on behalf of the Syrian people!

Kerry’s statements in Egypt yesterday were indeed flagrant violation and interference in the Syrians’ own affairs, sovereignty and integrity. How comes that Kerry of the U.S.A., sponsor of the proposed Geneva 2, would utter the same Saudi-clichés, against the letter and spirit of the proposed Geneva 2! If the aim of Geneva 2 were to hand power to al-Qaeda affiliates and their ewes, Saudi and US pardons, why should the millions of secular Syrians  accept such a farce?!

Kerry’s statements have indeed caused irreparable damage to the US credibility, if any. Such statements are but a “flagrant violation of Syrian affairs and an aggression against the Syrian people’s right to decide their future.”

“If the United States is sincere in its cooperation with Russia, Kerry must understand that only the Syrian people have the right to choose their own  political future, without foreign intervention,” outlined a statement by the Syrian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry.

“The success of the proposed Geneva 2 only depends on the Syrians’ willingness to reach an agreement amongst each other as to put an end to violence and terrorism, and to reach a political solution,” added the Ministry statement.
