Iraqi Prime Minister Reaffirms Support for Syria’s Territorial Integrity and Rejection of Foreign Interference

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani reaffirmed on Thursday his country’s support for Syria’s territorial integrity and its rejection of any form of foreign interference.

 

Duuring a program on Turkish-Iraqi relations organized by Anadolu Agency, Al-Sudani emphasized that Iraq places great importance on Syria’s security and stability.

He stressed that the Iraqi government respects the choices of the Syrian people and does not interfere in their affairs.

 

Al-Sudani stressed the need to take a stand regarding Israeli interventions in Syria, considering such actions a threat to Syria’s future and the integrity of its territory.
