Iraqi Prime Minister: Ending the presence of the international coalition to happen soon

Baghdad, (ST) –  Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani affirmed that the state of stability achieved in Iraq confirms that the presence of the international coalition on the country’s territories will end  once and for all.

The “INA” News Agency quoted the Prime Minister’s Media Office as saying: Al-Sudani confirmed during his meeting yesterday with the German Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Tobias Lindner that the growing capabilities of the Iraqi security forces and the state of stability and security achieved today in Iraq confirm the progress in the file of ending the presence of the international coalition and turning to bilateral relations with member states, especially in the context of defeating the terrorist remnants of ISIS.”

Regarding the brutal Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip, Al-Sudani stressed that the international community must bear its responsibility to stop the aggression and genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

For his part, Lindner affirmed Germany’s support for the Iraqi government’s steps to end the presence of the international coalition in Iraq, and expressed his country’s readiness to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement with Iraq in the security and military fields.
