Iraqi President: The terrorist attack against Al-Kazemi is a heinous crime

On November 7th, Iraqi President Barham Salih said that the terrorist attack that targeted the Prime Minister is a dangerous transgression and a heinous crime against Iraq.

Saleh explained in a tweet on Twitter, reported by Alsumaria News, that this attack requires unity of position in confronting the evil men who are stalking the security of this country and the safety of its people.

Saleh stressed that we cannot accept the dragging of Iraq into chaos and a coup against its constitutional system.

In turn, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced that the security situation is stable in the Green Zone.

He explained that an investigation was opened to find out where the booby-trapped drone took off, pointing out that the security and intelligence services began collecting evidence.

Earlier, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced that the attempt to assassinate Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi took place with three drones, and the security forces shot down two of them.
