Iraqi PM reaffirms his country’s support for the Palestinian cause

Prime Minister Mohammad Shiaa Al-Sudani on Saturday reaffirmed his country’s support for the Palestinian cause.

In a statement at the 7th Conference for Iraqi Ambassadors in Baghdad, Al-Sudani said that supporting the Palestinian cause is the most notable, firm and solid Iraqi stance, due to the Palestinian people’s permanent right to their occupied lands and sanctuaries.

He clarified that his country’s stance is not only a political stance =, rather it is part of the conscience and culture of the Iraqi people.

The Iraqi Premier asserted the need to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and avoid leading the region towards wider non-stop war, noting the Iraqi popular stances which were embodied in the humanitarian and moral response to what is happening in Gaza.
