Baghdad (ST): Iraqi forces seized Katyusha rockets and explosive materials in Samarra and Kirkuk governorates.
Alsumaria News quoted the Federal Police Command as saying in a statement today, “A police unit carried out a preemptive operation to search the Dhuluiya area and found a group of weapons, including an RPG-7 launcher, 3 Katyusha rockets and an Austrian missile, in addition to a detonation battery and a Katyusha rocket launch base.”
The statement added that “the Iraqi forces found explosive materials in the village of Karagul in Kirkuk,” noting that they were dealt with by the competent authorities.
The day before yesterday, the Iraqi forces arrested two terrorists in the capital, Baghdad, and seized explosive materials left behind by the terrorist organization “ISIS”.
