Iraqi forces retake control of two areas west Ramadi, kill 20 ISIS terrorists

BAGHDAD,(ST)_Iraqi Security forces have recaptured Zkhekha and al-Dolab areas west Ramadi district after confrontations with the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh], security source declared Friday.

In a statement to the Iraqi News Agency, the source said: “Over 20 ISIS-linked terrorists were killed and 4 vehicles loaded with heavy weapons belonging to them were destroyed during the military operations that were launched from al-Baghdadiyah area.”

The security sources also seized medium and heavy weapons belonging to the same terrorist organization [ISIS].

In another development, the French ‘Le Figaro” newspaper quoted an Iraqi security source as citing that one of the ISIS ringleaders, dubbed Radwan Taleb al-Hamdoni, was killed in Mosul city north Iraq.
