Iraqi forces kill over 49 terrorists in Kirkuk and Salaheddin

BAGHDAD,(ST)_Iraqi security forces have killed more than 49 ISIS terrorists during military operations in Salaheddin, Dyali and Kirkuk, according to media sources.

Media Advisor at Defense Ministry told the Iraqi Media network that cooperation between intelligence and tribes in Kirkuk and Salaheddin helped air forces to kill 20 terrorists inside a fuel station in al-Hamdeneh town in al-Hwejeh and to destroy four cars belonging to them.

The advisor added that more terrorists were killed in four rooms affiliated to a fuel station near the ‘al-Jomhori’ Hospital in Mosul. “Three anti-aircraft guns plus cars hidden among buildings in al-Dyom area outside Tikrit were destroyed,” he stressed.

In Dyali province, a local source disclosed that three terrorists belonging to ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] died today morning in an explosion inside a boat northeast Ba’aqouba.

Earlier, it was reported that Iraqi army eliminated over 26 ISIS terrorists in several areas in Salaheddin province.

Clashes north Tikrit

A security source clarified that dozens of terrorists were mowed down in clashes flared up between security forces and ISIS-linked terrorists in al-Bojwari town north Tikrit city.

Security forces, in addition, destroyed ISIS gathering outside Baiji in Salaheddin province.

While the Iraqi warplanes struck one of the ISIS hideouts south Tikrit and killed 13 terrorists.

More three terrorists were killed in clashes with security forces in al-Bo te’ameh town outside Baiji north Tikrit.

On the other hand, the Iraqi defense ministry in cooperation with intelligence and security destroyed Internet Network through which terrorists were coordinating.

Last night, the Iraqi security forces killed 11 ISIS terrorists and burned four cars belonging to them in al-Mallaha town north Salaheddin province within framework of military operations that aim to purge the country of terrorists.
