On March 1st, the Iraqi Security Media Cell announced that 3 ISIS terrorists were killed in strikes by the Iraqi Air Force in Anbar, in the west of the country.
“Based on intelligence information received from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, the air force carried out a strike targeting a detachment of terrorist gangs in the Shuaib Al-Daye area,” the Iraqi News Agency said in a statement.
The statement added that “the air force strike killed one of the terrorists.”
The statement indicated that the air force also carried out two air strikes, which resulted in the killing of two ISIS terrorists in the same place,” noting that these pre-emptive operations come to eliminate terrorists and not give them an opportunity to find safe shelter.
