Iraqi forces arrest ISIS terrorist in Anbar

Baghdad, (ST) – Iraqi forces arrested an ISIS terrorist during an operation in Anbar Province, western Iraq.

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced in a statement that “the Military Intelligence Division arrested one of the terrorists known to be the leader of ISIS gangs in an area 7 km west of Ramadi; who is wanted by the judiciary according to an arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of the terrorism law.

Yesterday, the Iraqi forces arrested a leader of terrorist organization, ISIS, in a pre-emptive security operation east of Fallujah in Anbar Province.

On the other hand, the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced finding of a store of explosive devices and weapons belonging to the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the Hawija district of Kirkuk Governorate.
