Iraqi forces arrest ISIS ringleader

BAGHDAD, (ST)_Iraqi forces have arrested ISIS ringleader during an operation in Salaheddin governorate in the heart of Iraq.

The Iraqi News Agency quoted the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Yahya Rasoul, as saying: ”  “The Counter-Terrorism Service carried out today at dawn an operation in al-Sherqat area in Salaheddin governorate when one of the ISIS ringleaders was arrested.”

In the same context, Intelligence Agency said that 7 ISIS hideouts containing explosive devices were destroyed in the southern side of Karkur.

The Iraqi popular mobilization forces launched an operation to pursue remnants of ISIS [Its Arabic acronym is DAESH] in Anbar region to the west of Iraq.
