Iraqi DMI captures several ISIS terrorists in Nineveh

BAGHDAD, May.21, (ST)_The Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) announced, on Tuesday, the capture of two terrorists working in the ISIS bomb squad in the city of Mosul in Nineveh Governorate.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Directorate of Military Intelligence said, “With two separate duties and  intelligence effort, based on accurate  information of the 16th Division Reconnaissance Battalion of the Military Intelligence Directorate and through coordination and follow-up with the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Cell, two tight ambushes were set up in the Al-Mamoun neighborhood and Al-Intisar neighborhood in the right side of the city of Mosul.”

“The operation resulted in the arrest of two ISIS terrorist elements wanted by the Iraqi judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 (4) of Terrorism,” The statement said.

“The two terrorists were working in a vehicle bombing and IEDs in ISIS terrorist gangs, and they were handed over to the appropriate authority,” It added.
