Iraqi authorities arrest candidate for replacing al-Baghdadi

Baghdad (ST): Iraqi authorities announced the arrest of  terrorist Abdel Nasser Qardash, the candidate for replacing terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

In the same context, head of the terrorism combating apparatus General Abdul Wahab al-Sa’edi  said qualitative operations would be carried out to arrest the remains of Daesh terrorists organization, noting that the operations would continue until eliminating Daesh in Iraq.

 

Meanwhile, the Iraqi military intelligence department said in a statement that a terrorist in charge of collecting information about the Iraqi military establishment was detained in al-Ramadi.

Earlier, the Iraqi Mobilization Forces had also killed five terrorists from Daesh in al-Anbar to the West of the Iraqi capital.
