Liberation of Tikrit means end of ISIL’s life in Iraq, says Ali Jafari
On the other hand, the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group is gasping for breath and will die soon after the strategic town of Tikrit is set free, Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari underlined in enlightening remarks on Wednesday.
“Given the strategic position and special importance of Tikrit which is located at the endpoint of Hamrin mountains, freedom of Tikrit means that ISIL can no more resist in any (other) Iraqi city,” Jafari told reporters in Tehran on Wednesday.
He reiterated that ISIL’s defeat in Tikrit showed that the terrorist group is not able to resist in any other regions. “Now that ISIL has failed to hold its ground in Tikri, they will also be forced to run away from the other other cities of Fallujah and Mosul which are under their control now, and ISIL will disappear from Iraq.”
