Iraq withdraws from an international conference when representative of the Zionist entity delivers a speech

The Iraqi delegation participating in the tenth session of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, held in the American city of Atlanta, on Wednesday withdrew while the representative of the Zionist entity was delivering his speech at the conference.

The Iraqi News Agency reported that the Federal Integrity Commission said in a statement that “its president, Judge Haider Hanoun, Iraq’s representative in the agreement, withdrew from the conference hall while the representative of the Zionist entity was giving his speech,” noting that “this came according to the directives of the Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani.”

According to the statement “This step by the Iraqi delegation came in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and to denounce the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against them and the massacres the occupation commits against women and children in Gaza.”

The Federal Integrity Commission pointed out that “Judge Hanoun had called, yesterday, Tuesday, in his speech at the conference, for an immediate cessation of the war on Gaza and the entry of humanitarian aid without delay,” stressing “the accountability of the perpetrators of genocide and war crimes in accordance with the rules of international justice,” while calling for “ Justice for the Palestinian people and the establishment of the Arab State of Palestine on all of its usurped lands, with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.”
