Iraq vs. Syria football match ends in a tie

Our national team played against the Iraqi national team in a friendly match yesterday at the Karbalaa stadium in Iraq.

The match began powerfully as the Syrian team gave a commanding performance in attack. Feras Al Khatib scored the match’s first goal through a solid and steady shot, before his team’s defense scored an own goal and ended the first half in a draw.

The second half started with Al Khatib and Al Somah threatening the Iraqi defense with tough shots at the target, bringing the crowd into cheering frenzy.

The friendly match ended with a draw, and both national teams are now awaiting their world rankings that Fifa will release on 23 November.
