Iraq renews its condemnation of the American attacks on its territory

Charge d’Affairs of Iraqi mission to the United Nations in New York Abbas Kazem Obaid has renewed Iraqi rejection of the American attacks on its territory.

“We reject the attack on our lands because these attacks are a violation of sovereignty and a threat to security and stability, and Iraq will not allow any party to destabilize its security and stability” Obaid said in his speech before the Security Council, reported by the Iraqi news agency INA

He added “The security services continue their work in confronting terrorism and are keen to combat drugs and dry up their sources.”

Regarding the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip, Obaid said: “We call for putting an end to this aggression and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid,” warning against the danger of escalating the conflict in the region.
