BAGHDAD- Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki called for residents and tribes of Fallujah city to expel “terrorists” holding the area to prevent fighting in the city, Iraqiya state TV reported on Monday.
According to al-Manar Website, Maliki called on “the people of Fallujah and its tribes to expel the terrorists” so “their areas are not subjected to the dangers of armed clashes.”
Meantime, the Iraqi armed forces continue their military operations to fight terrorism and eliminate terrorists in the country. A security siege was imposed on the targeted area and some army units were deployed at the Iraqi borders with Syria and Jordan to prevent the influx of gunmen and the infiltration of terrorists from the two countries into Iraq and vise versa.
Meanwhile, political Iraqi parties have called for putting Saudi Arabia to trial because of its support to terrorism in Iraq. The parties affirm that Saudi Arabia is deeply involved in supporting terrorism in Iraq through issuing takfiri and inciting fatwas that encourage sedition.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia has blatantly announced its full support to armed terrorist groups in Syria.
