Iraq condemns the aggression of the Turkish regime forces on its lands

Baghdad (ST): The Iraqi Security Media Cell condemned the Turkish regime’s violation of the country’s sovereignty and bombing areas in northern Iraq.

The cell said in a statement carried by Alsumaria News: “We condemn what the Turkish drones did last night in violating the Iraqi airspace in Sinjar and Makhmour and carrying out air strikes in these two areas.”

 “We reject any breach by any party of Iraq’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” it added.

The cell’s statement called on the Turkish regime to abide by international agreements and stop these violations out of respect and commitment to the common interests between the two countries and not to be repeated.

The bombing carried out by the Turkish regime’s planes on northern Iraq killed eight people and wounded a number of people.
