Iran’s UN mission says response to Israeli attack is legitimate defense
The Iranian Mission to the United Nations has stressed that the Iranian military action, which was carried out based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter relating to legitimate defence, “was a response to the Zionist entity’s aggression against our diplomatic buildings in Damascus”.
The matter can be considered over, however, if the Israeli entity makes another mistake, Iran’s response will be much more severe, the mission said in a statement on Saturday.
This is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli entity, which the United States must stay away from, the mission affirmed.
