Iran’s National Security Committee: Washington is not ready to cooperate to make nuclear negotiations a success
Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Shura Council (Parliament), Abbas Moqtadaei, has affirmed that the United States, by continuing to impose new sanctions on Iran, showed its unwillingness to cooperate, but rather sought to delay negotiations on resuming the nuclear agreement and lifting the embargo.
Moqtadaei explained in an interview with the Iranian news agency IRNA that the recent US sanctions against many personalities and companies cooperating with Iran confirmed that the Americans are only seeking to impose pressure and thwart negotiations.
Moqtadaei pointed out that his country has bypassed the embargo measures, which the Americans described as extreme pressure.
Moqtadaei said that the US position on the international scene is currently weak.
