Iranian-Syrian Friendship Association: We look forward to maintaining strong commercial relations with Syria

Tehran (ST): Hassan Chakhsi, head of the Iranian-Syrian Friendship Association, affirmed Iran’s keenness to maintain strong and continuous relations with Syria.

During his meeting yesterday, Yunus Jaileh, head of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce, the capital of East Azerbaijan province, Chakhsi said, “To this end, we have decided to hold meetings in various Iranian provinces that enjoy a good level of trade and export to exchange views in this regard. We seek to activate trade exchange between Iran. and Syria, while emphasizing the active role of Iranian merchants in the Syrian market.”

In turn, Yunus Jaileh pointed out the interest of traders and investors in East Azerbaijan to increase trade exchange with industrialists in Syria, especially since the province possesses a lot of capabilities in various industries, including foodstuffs, textiles, cement and building materials.
