Iranian Student Delegation visits Hama University

A student delegation from several Iranian universities visited  the University of Hama yesterday as part of activating the exchange of cultural and scientific experiences between the two sides.

The president of the University of Hama Abd Al Razzaq Al Salem presented for the guest delegation an introductory overview about the university, which has adopted the motto “linking the university to society”, stressing the importance of these visits in development the cooperation and strengthening scientific and cultural relations between the two sides.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Rida Hajjian, advisor for the International Relations at the Iranian Embassy in Damascus stressed the importance of the meeting and the mutual benefits in all fields, especially with regard to student experiences and scientific expertise.

Hajjian stated that this visit comes within the framework of expanding and deepening relations between Syria and Iran, through organizing visits from various segments of society to learn about the Syrian people and their steadfastness during the years of terrorist war against Syria.

In turn, the head of Hama branch of the National Union of Syrian students, Fareed Maghmoma, noted that the meeting included a dialogue workshop between a number of students from  Hama University and students from the Iranian Universities about the mechanism of education in universities, in addition to introducing the National Union of Syrian Students, its events and activities, and its role in defending students issues, and developing the higher education and scientific research system.

The guest delegation visited the College of Dentistry, and was briefed on its departments, equipment, and the services it provides to students, patients, and visitors.
