Iranian Revolutionary Guards eliminate a terrorist cell in the northwest of the country

Tehran (ST): The Iranian Revolutionary Guards managed to eliminate a terrorist cell that was planning to carry out sabotage and destabilizing acts in West Azerbaijan Province, northwest of the country. 

 

The public relations of the “Hamza Sayyid al-Shuhada” headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated in a statement that through reconnaissance and intelligence procedures, the Guard forces destroyed a terrorist cell before it infiltrated and carried out sabotage operations in the northwest of the country.

The statement indicated that some weapons and ammunition were seized from the terrorist cell’s possession.
