Iranian President : Supporting the oppressed people of Palestine is a practice of the teachings of all heavenly religions

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stressed that supporting the oppressed people of Palestine is a practice of the teachings of all divine religions, stressing that the horrific and unprecedented crimes committed by the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip constitute the largest genocide of the current century.

During a phone call on Sunday with Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, Iran’s president made it clear that the crimes and massacres committed by Israeli occupation against  the persecuted women and children of Gaza , including  Al-Mamadani  Hospital massacre , are a clear example of crimes against humanity.

He indicated  that the bombing of a church in Gaza and the destruction of Palestinian historical heritage is clear evidence of  apartheid practices carried out with American support and a number of European countries.

The Iranian President stressed the need to provide support to the Palestinian people, noting the Vatican’s stand – calling for stopping the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

For his part, Pope Francis affirmed his support for the oppressed Palestinian people and that he will  endeavor to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza, saying: “I will exert my utmost efforts  to stop the Israeli attacks and prevent more victims of women and children in Gaza.”
