Iranian President and Iraqi Prime Minister : Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip must be stopped immediately

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has reiterated that the US  is Israel’s partner in its crimes against the Palestinian people, noting the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance and the inevitability of its victory.

During a joint press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani in Tehran on Monday , Raisi said in response to a question about Israeli crimes in Gaza: “These are crimes against humanity including  genocide, and the killing of children which are carried out constantly  by the Zionist entity with the support of the Americans and some European countries.”

He added: “The Zionist entity has collapsed which is against US policy  . This  shameful and abject failure of the Zionist entity cannot be compensated for except by committing more crimes,” stressing that these crimes cannot compensate for the defeat before the Palestinian resistance.

Iran’s president  stressed the need to stop Israeli crimes and massacres  and to provide aid and assistance to the oppressed and powerful people of Gaza as soon as possible.

He added  “We cooperate and support any measure taken at the level of Islamic, regional and international countries to prevent the Zionist entity and the US  from killing the innocent and oppressed people of Gaza, but unfortunately the  United States provides weapons  and financial aid to the Zionist entity in order to commit murder and atrocities against the Palestinian people.”

President Raisi described the Americans’ claim of providing assistance to Gaza and declaring a ceasefire as a complete lie, indicating that “this claim is not consistent with  the Americans policy concerning supporting   the Zionist entity and encourage it to kill by using their veto against a draft resolution in the UN Security Council,”

He indicated that the US and the countries supporting the Israeli entity are responsible for these crimes in which they are partners.

In turn, Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Sudani stressed that the Al-Aqsa Flood operation is the result of Israel’s criminal policies against the Palestinian people, stressing that Iraq’s stand  is firm and principled concerning  the struggle of the Palestinian people to achieve freedom and establish their independent state with Jerusalem ( Al-Quds) as its capital.

He pointed out that the residents of Gaza have faced  imprisonment for decades, before  a silent world which did not do anything despite international conventions, indicating that whoever wants to contain the conflict and prevent its spread must put pressure on the occupation authorities to stop the aggression and systematic killing.

Al-Raisi added  that the decision to involve the region into a comprehensive war threatens the  civil peace and security in the region and the world is with the side  that carries out the aggression against Gaza.
