Iranian Presidency: Targeting our facilities and assassinating scientists will not stop our nuclear program

Tehran (ST): Iran has affirmed that assassinating its scientists and targeting its facilities will not stop its nuclear program.

Mahmoud Vaezi, Director of the Iranian President’s Office, said in a statement today that Iran’s enrichment of uranium by 60 percent is a clear indication of the country’s progress and a clear message for stalkers to know that it has managed to localize peaceful nuclear technology.

Head of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf, announced earlier today that his country produced the first quantity of uranium enriched to 60 percent.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced yesterday that Iran is capable of enriching uranium by 90 percent whenever it wants, noting that its return to abiding by its pledges regarding the nuclear deal is subject to the implementation of Security Council Resolution 2231 and  ending  the embargo imposed on it.
