Iranian peaceful nuclear activities are consistent with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, says Eslami

The Director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami stressed that the Iranian peaceful nuclear activities are consistent with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and fall within the framework of the laws of the international atomic Energy Agency.

In statements reported by the Iranian Fars News Agency, Islami referred to the attempts of Iran’s enemies to stop the progress of the nuclear sector, including embargoes, sabotage and assassinations.

He said: Those people took different methods to stop our progress, and the international atomic Energy Agency asked us to inspect some places, and they were not basically nuclear facilities or sites. Rather the matter was a fabrication by the Zionist intelligence and the terrorist “Khalq” Organization.

He added that the Iranian Supreme National Security Council allowed international atomic Energy Agency to inspect some sites to prove that they were not nuclear sites stressing that these fabricated charges waste a lot of time.

Islami stressed that no one can dictate to Iran what should or should not to be done. He said that the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency is proceeding in accordance with the goals set for it by the government.
