TEHRAN – The Iranian Parliament is slated to study a possible US attack on Syria in a session of its National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on Sunday, a senior legislator announced on Saturday,according to FNA.
“The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission will review the latest developments of Syria and Lebanon in its session today,” the commission’s Vice-Chairman Mansour Haqiqatpour told FNA on Saturday.
He noted that representatives of the Iranian Armed Forces and foreign ministry will also take part in the tomorrow meeting.
The US and other western countries have adopted the rhetoric of war against Syria over allegations that the Syrian government was behind a recent chemical attack near Damascus.
