Iranian Minister of Security: 400 explosive devices detected and dismantled

Tehran (ST): Iranian Security Minister Ismail Khatib announced the discovery and dismantling of 400 explosive devices in the recent period, including 40 devices that were prepared to explode during the past month.

Khatib stated in a television interview, according to IRNA, that more than 50 intelligence services held many meetings and round tables in different countries and trained more than 200 media outlets on the task of inciting strife and destabilizing Iran. Semi-governmental organizations abroad also prepared a group to train and pass on its plan to overthrow the state, and it used the tools of cyberspace and the media.

He stressed that the security apparatus will make every effort to confront conspiracies and provide the necessary conditions to establish the foundations of stability in the country.
