Iranian judiciary: Hundreds of terrorist arrested in recent riot acts

Mohammad Karimi, the Chief Prosecutor and head of the Islamic Revolution Court in the city of Sari, in Mazandaran province, north of Iran, announced in a statement on Sunday that a number of terrorists affiliated to ISIS and Komala Party terrorist organizations were arrested during the riot incidents that recently took place in Mazandaran.

Karimi said that 450 rioters were arrested in the province and were referred to the judiciary for the crimes they committed during the recent events.

On Friday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC announced that it thwarted an attempt to carry out terrorist bombings in the city of Tabriz city, northwest of Iran, in coincidence with the recent riot acts.
