Iranian Foreign Ministry: The agreement with Saudi Arabia achieves the common interests of the two countries

On March 12th, Iran said that the agreement with Saudi Arabia achieves the common interests of the peoples of the two countries and other countries in the region.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “The Iranian government has proven through the Beijing agreement that it has a real and serious will to achieve the interests of the Iranian people, and that it is ready to invest regional opportunities and capabilities to promote comprehensive peace and stability.”

The Foreign Ministry added: “Through this initiative, the Iranian government has shown its serious determination to secure the interests of the Iranian people, Islamic countries, friends and neighbors in the region, as well as using regional capabilities towards achieving and strengthening comprehensive peace and stability and securing the common and collective interests of the governments and countries of the region.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed its confidence in the agreement’s positive effects in securing the common interests of the peoples of Iran, Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.
