Iranian Foreign Minister: The situation in the region has reached a worrying point

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian warned that the situation in the West Asia region has reached a worrying point, and there is a possibility that it will get out of control from the hands of all parties.

Abdullahian said in a press statement upon his arrival in New York Wednesday evening: “The conditions in the West Asia region, in the light of the ongoing massacre and genocide against the people of Gaza Strip, and the comprehensive support that the United States and a number of European countries blindly provide to the Zionist entity, have reached a point where “it is worrying for all countries in the region, and there is a possibility that it will get out of control of all parties.”

Abdullahian stressed the need to immediately stop war crimes and genocide against civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, and to send humanitarian aid immediately and on a large scale.

Abdullahian stressed that the actions of the Palestinian resistance and liberation factions in confronting the Israeli occupation are completely legitimate in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter.

Meantime, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed that the American administration is directly responsible for the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people.

Kanaani said in a press statement Wednesday evening: “We are witnessing an unequal war waged by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, and the American administration is directly responsible for the crimes committed by this entity.”

Kanaani pointed out that his country’s main priority is to stop the unprecedented bombing carried out by this entity against the people of Gaza.
