Iranian Defense Minister arrives in Damascus for talks with senior Syrian political and military officials

Iranian Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, accompanied by an official delegation, arrived in Damascus this afternoon on a visit to Syria during which he will meet with senior political and military officials.

Talks will deal with the latest developments in the region in general and enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two friendly armies, which will contribute to continuing the fight against terrorism and achieving security and stability in the region.
