Iranian Army: The hostile move by the European Parliament is a result of desperation and failure

Tehran (ST): The Iranian army confirmed that the hostile move by the European Parliament, which claims to fight terrorism against the anti-terrorist institution, the Revolutionary Guards, is caused by desperation and failure to support the recent riots in Iran.

The Iranian army said in a statement today: “The stubbornness and hatred of the enemies against Iran have been revealed once again. There is no doubt that the proposal to include the name of the Revolutionary Guard in the fake and hypocritical list of terrorist groups is the result of surrender and blind subordination to America’s anti-Islamic revolution policies, and evidence of the subordination and submissiveness of European leaders, America and global Zionism.”

The statement reiterated its strong condemnation of the illegal action of the European Parliament, noting that the Revolutionary Guards offered many martyrs while fighting domestic and foreign terrorist groups, including ISIS.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed that the reason for the West’s anger at the Revolutionary Guards is that it is the largest anti-terrorism organization in the world.

Kanaani said on his Twitter account today: “The Israeli apartheid regime is the largest organized terrorist organization in the world, the British regime is its founder, and the American regime is its biggest supporter,” adding: “The reason for the global club of terrorists’ anger at the Revolutionary Guards is clear.” .

The European Parliament representatives agreed to include the Revolutionary Guards on the European Union’s list of so-called (terrorist groups), although identifying terrorist groups and organizations is the right of the UN Security Council in accordance with Article 39 of the Charter of the United Nations.
