Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that his country does not want war, but will defend the rights of the Iranian people and will not submit to any aggressor.
“Our people and the Islamic Republic of Iran have proven over the past 45 years that they will never submit to any aggressor, and we do not want war, but we will defend the rights of the people and the homeland and will respond appropriately to the aggression of the Zionist entity.” Pezeshkian said while chairing a government meeting on Sunday
He pointed out that “the countries allied with this usurping entity, led by the United States, claim to defend freedom and human rights, while they have remained silent in the face of the massacres that have claimed the lives of tens of thousands of women and children as a result of the practices of the murderous Zionist entity,”
He noted that “those with a living conscience around the world have expressed their condemnation of the crimes of this entity.” The Iranian president offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs in the Iranian army who were martyred in the terrorist attack in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, stressing the need to pursue and punish the terrorist elements behind the attacks.
