Iran warns Washington of any adventures against its peaceful nuclear program

Tehran (ST): Iran affirmed that the irresponsible, provocative and warmongering US statements against Tehran violate international laws and the United Nations Charter, warning against any miscalculations or adventures against its peaceful nuclear program.

The Iranian news agency, IRNA, quoted Amir Saeed Erwani, Iran’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, as saying in a letter to the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations regarding the statements of Jake Sullivan, the US President’s National Security Adviser, and his threat to use force against Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities: “These irresponsible,  provocative and warmongering statements  mean not only the complicity of the United States in any terrorist or aggressive acts by the Israeli entity against Iran, including against its peaceful nuclear facilities, but also the acceptance of its responsibility for its role in aiding, facilitating and supporting Israeli terrorist and sabotage operations against officials, scientists, people and nuclear facilities in Iran”.
