Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani stressed that the Iranian response to any foolishness committed by the Zionist entity would be devastating.
IRNA quoted Kanaani as saying in an interview today that “the Zionist entity’s recent threats are just psychological warfare, and the Zionist entity does not dare and does not have the ability to confront Iran militarily,” explaining that US President Joe Biden failed during his visit to the region to form a military alliance against Iran.
Kanaani pointed out that his country will host today the summit of heads of guarantor states of the Astana process, reiterating Iran’s position of rejection to the idea of establishing a “buffer zone” inside Syria.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Syria confirmed last May that what the Turkish regime is doing to establish the so-called “safe zone” is an aggressive colonial act through which the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan seeks to create an explosive outpost inside Syria and continue to sponsor, arm and operate armed terrorist organizations to be used against The Syrian people.
In another context, Kanaani indicated that Washington has not yet accepted all the Iranian demands contained in the text of the 2015 nuclear agreement, adding that it must give real guarantees to his country and that prolonging the nuclear talks is not in the interest of all parties, especially the United States.
