DAMASCUS – The Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Javad Turk-Abadi affirmed that his country will participate actively in the Damascus International Fair which will be launched on the 17th of August, SANA reported.

In a statement to SANA, Turk-Abadi said that the establishment of the Fair indicates the ability of the Syrian people to overcome the past stage and move to the stage of reconstruction.

He pointed out that the Iranian participation will be through an integrated exhibition of commemorative photographs documenting the important events that brought together the leaderships of the two countries and images of the main features of the cultural, social and historical ties binding the two countries.
