Iran to Keep Backing Syria under all Circumstances

 TEHRAN, (ST)-Iran will continue to back the Syrian state and people under all circumstances as to support resistance and counter-terrorism efforts, Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani reiterated in a press conference on Wednesday following his meeting with Syria’s Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi and the accompanying delegation visiting Iran.

 

“Syria has proved over the past four years that it is adopting the right course in fighting terrorism and that it enjoys a great ability to face this dangerous phenomenon, so all countries have to support Syria,” Larijani said, pointing out that Syria is surpassing the crisis as it has been achieving successive victories.  

He said “Syria is a strong state in the axis of resistance and it is still supporting resistance in deeds not only in words like some other states do.”
