Iran strongly condemns the Zionist aggression on  Sayyida Zeinab area in Damascus countryside

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baghaei strongly condemned the Zionist aggression that targeted a residential building in the Sayyida Zeinab area in the Damascus countryside, which led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of innocent civilians.

Baghaei stressed in a statement on Sunday that the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist entity, including attacks on Syrian lands, genocide operations in Gaza, and aggression against Lebanon, are only a result of the unlimited support provided by the United States and some European countries to this entity, considering that these countries are partners in the Zionist genocide and war crimes.

Baqaei denounced  the inaction of the concerned international organizations regarding the genocide of the Palestinian people and the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon and Syria.

The spokesman called on the international community to take practical and effective steps against the Zionist entity, including imposing an arms embargo on it, expelling it from the United Nations, and prosecuting and punishing its officials.

Seven civilians, including children and women, were martyred and twenty others were injured as a result of an Israeli aggression that targeted a residential building in the Sayyida Zeinab area in the Damascus countryside.
