Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that took place yesterday in the town of Sayeda Zainab in the countryside of Damascus.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Kanaani as saying in a statement, “In these circumstances in which innocent people in Syria suffer from the unjust sanctions imposed by America and some Western countries, and in light of the painful silence of the international community, terrorist groups backed by the Zionist entity and America are committing such heinous crimes,” calling on the international community and international organizations to take urgent and effective action to lift the unilateral and unjust US and Western sanctions imposed on Syria and to send humanitarian aid to it, in addition to condemning any aggression against it.
Kanaani expressed his condolences to the Syrian government and people and the families of the victims.
