Iran Stresses Paying Attention to HumanitarianAspect of The Crisis In Syria

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman MarziyehAfkham renewed Iran’s firm stance on the need for paying attention to the humanitarian dimensions of the crisis in Syria, according to IRNA.

ˈThe Islamic Republic of Iran has had providing extensive relief operations to the Syrian people and facilitating assistance by other countries within the framework of Iran-Syria cooperation,ˈAfkham said.

The foreign ministry spokeswoman stressed non-interference of foreigners and a halt in support for the terrorist groups which have caused many losses on the people and the country’s infrastructure.

ˈHumanitarian aid should not be utilized for political purposes,ˈ she said.
