Iran’s unilateral commitment to the nuclear agreement is unacceptable, says Abdollahian

Tehran, (ST) – Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, -, the special aide to the speaker of the Iranian Parliament on international affairs, emphasized that, Iran’s continued unilateral commitment to the nuclear agreement is unacceptable.

“Tehran always considers diplomatic negotiations a useful method, but negotiation for the sake of negotiation is a repetitive and absurd game,” Fars News Agency quoted Abdollahian as saying during his meeting with the British ambassador to Tehran, Rob Macaire.

He pointed out that it would be useful to hold talks between the parliamentary committees of Iran and Britain, criticizing the slow pace of cooperation, including London’s failure to fulfill its obligations, and said that “some officials in London not to fulfill their obligations towards the Islamic Republic of Iran are leveling baseless accusations against it, which is what It is considered unconstructive behavior in the course of relations between the two countries.

Abdollahian stressed the need to establish peace and security in the region, including Yemen.
