Iran’s genuine approach towards fight on terror

Tehran – Iran’s initiative to cooperate more closely with Russia in the global war on terror, despite all the disinformation by Western and Saudi media, is going to bear results reverberating far beyond regional borders.

The Islamic Republic’s defensive, political and security initiative to allow Russian bombers use an Iranian military airport for their anti-terrorist missions in Syria, after all, raised many eyebrows in the West and across the region, especially in Arab countries, according to IRNA.

Sure enough, the move by Iran at first place shattered the illusion in some Arab countries that they have the capacity to affect or change regional equations.

At least, they came to realize that in order to be a major regional player, they cannot solely rely on an international television channel, once an Al Qaeda mouthpiece carrying terrorist messages, and even on their petrodollars.

The cooperation between Tehran and the Kremlin remains to be tactical preemptive approach towards the Takfiri terrorists, whose criminal acts have not only overwhelmed the region but spilled over to other regions as far as Europe and America.

The cooperation between Tehran and Moscow tends to be a genuine approach aiming to put an end to the global threat of terrorism.

And that is why, other influential countries, like India, China and even some European nations, and today Turkey, are increasingly siding with the anti-terrorist campaign led by the two regional powers, Iran and Russia, and that is why they anxiously examine what is going on in Syria as the first anti-Daesh and anti-Takfiri front that is simultaneously the forefront warding off eastern proliferation of the West, and they monitor the advancement by the Syrian Army in its fight against terrorists.

The US-led international coalition against terrorists, on the other hand, has proven to be a failure as major international players are losing faith in it.

It goes without saying that the United States follows to achieve its hegemonic ends in the resourceful region and to do this it is relying on its Arab proxies like Saudi Arabia that in turn, count on the terrorist groups for the achievement of its goals.

Washington’s involvement in the region in the name of fighting terrorism is a paradox and the central paradox about its approach in the region is in Riyadh.

The Saudi kingdom has apparently allied itself with the US in its global war on terror. Yet, what it is doing in Yemen is tantamount to nothing but terrorism. Killing civilians by targeting houses, hospitals, schools and even international relief centers in Yemen is indicative of one important fact: A Saudi-led genocide is underway in Yemen.

And the Western countries while tend to turn a blind eye on the Saudi bloody aggression in country, seem to be unwilling to stop supplying Riyadh with genocidal weapons, including germ bombs.

This is going to present the paradox of the US and western countries involvement in the region: To fight terrorism or not to fight terrorism that is the question.

But sure enough the cooperation between Iran and Russia, associated with the tendency on the side of the other regional and global players to join in, is going to bring a definite end to terrorism, the sinister phenomenon that is used by the West to establish a world dominion.
