Iran, Russia Sign Tech MoUs

Moscow– Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin inked two MoUs in technology field in Moscow.

The MoUs were signed during the visit of the Iranian science and technology delegation to Moscow to take part in the 3rd meeting of the supreme commission of technology cooperation.

According to the Iranian embassy in Russia, the two sides explored fresh grounds of developing cooperation in technological areas.

 Sattari also met with the Russian President’s scientific consultant Andrei Fursenko and the C.E.O of Rostec Corporation Sergey Chemezov.

During Iranian delegation’s trip to Russia, the 3rd Meeting of the Supreme Commission of Technology Cooperation of Iran and Russia chaired by Sattari and Rogozin was held.

In his first trip to Moscow in 2014-2015, Sattari offered guidelines to investigate, to lead, to manage and to remove technology cooperation obstacles.

As a result of the aforementioned trip, Supreme Commission of Technology Cooperation was formed the first meeting of which, headed by Sattari and Ragozin, was held in 2015-2016 in Moscow.

Iran-Russia cooperation covers nanotechnology and Biotechnology, medical equipment, treating incurable diseases cognitive science and academic relations.
