Iran renews condemnation of the Israeli repeated attacks on Syria, calls for withdrawal of US occupation troops

Iran has renewed its strong condemnation of the Israeli repeated attacks on Syrian territories, urging the international community to assume its responsibility towards stopping these attacks.

During his meeting on Saturday with Syria’s Ambassador in Tehran Shafiq Dayyoub, Iran’s Vice-President for Parliamentary Affairs Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini also condemned the US occupation’s attacks on Syrian territories as well as its looting crimes against Syria’s natural resources, calling for the American forces withdrawal from Syria, Iraq and the entire region.

Hosseini stressed Iran’s complete readiness to contribute to reconstructing what terrorism has destroyed in Syria, hailing the Iranian products exhibition held recently in Damascus.

He said that the Iranian side is seriously resolved in wanting to cooperate with neighboring countries, foremost of which is Syria.

On his part, Dayyoub reiterated the need to intensify cooperation in the fields of  science, tourism and technology, hailing the Syrian parliamentarians’ role in making the laws that contribute to enhancing strategic cooperation between Syria and Iran.

The two sides also discussed regional and international developments.

Following the meeting, Hosseini and Dayyoub made a statement to journalists in which they affirmed the need to establish peace and stability in the region. They also emphasized continuous work in all domains to achieve success that serves the interest of the peoples of the two countries.
